Legendary designer Karl Lagerfeld and iconic brand Chanel have an ambitious plan to stage an elaborate mobile art show right in Central Park this coming October. The event is in celebration of the 50year anniversary of the ubiquitous 2.55 Chanel handbag. The mobile art structure which resembles a futuristic spaceship has already well traveled ground in Hong Kong and Tokyo. 15 artists will be commisioned to display their Chanel inspired pieces at the show and it is sure to draw huge crowds to the Rumsey playfield this fall.
Daniel Buren and 20 artists' Yoko Ono et al. works have been exhibited in the international round
exhibition of a futuristic pavilion where Zaha Hadid handled the design. The building where this
streamline is beautiful is divided into about 300, and moves all over the world.
